The Valley Animal Center has a new tool called "M.A.R.C." – The Mobile Adoption and Rescue Caboose. Pet Adoption Unit Brings Critters Out Into the Community
It's now even easier to adopt a pet from the Valley Animal Center. The organization now has a mobile pet adoption unit, called M.A.R.C., short for mobile adoption and rescue caboose. The vehicle allows the Center to transport more than 20 dogs and cats for adoptions at various locations in the community.

Learn pet first aid at Marin Humane
Dogs and cats may have a better chance of surviving a medical emergency if their people have learned the skills for performing pet first aid and CPR. The Marin Humane Society will host such a training workshop on Saturday, Sept. 11, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
